HSPVA Theatre Department's Middle School Workshop

HSPVA Theatre Guild, a part of HSPVA Friends, presents a Middle School Workshop for Students in Grades 6, 7 and 8 on Sat., Dec. 2, 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. (Registration takes place at 9 a.m.

Each student will participate in three 50-minute workshops (different material is presented at each grade level.) All 8th grade students will attend a session on audition techniques.

Workshops include a mix of acting, musical theatre, technical theatre, movement, improvisation, and theatre games.

HSPVA Theatre students will present a special performance from 1:30-2:30 p.m. 

Participants should wear casual, comfortable clothing appropriate for active physical exercise. No skirts or dresses, please. Participants will receive a complimentary special-edition HSPVA T-shirt.

Pizza, drinks and cookies will be served for lunch. Students may also bring their own lunch.
