Mistletoe Market

An outdoor NYC-style holiday market extravaganza complete with colorful decor, handmade holiday gifts, and treats for the whole family is on the way to Midtown Houston. This December, residents and visitors alike can experience a curated selection of holiday-themed vendors, artisans, and performers at the annual Mistletoe Market. Recently reopened and renovated, Bagby Park will be on full display amidst food, craft activities, music, and more while 16 local vendors showcase their unique creations. On Friday, December 10 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday, December 11 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. guests can explore this high-energy market to revisit the joyful experience of in-person shopping.

The event will give shoppers the opportunity to discover special gifts from some of Houston’s top independent artists and small businesses. It’s a free and interactive event where Bagby Park sparkles with light, color, and classic holiday decor. Houston’s ukulele club, Houkulele, and Houston Masterworks Chorus will perform live music. At the same time, there will be delicious fine foods and contemporary crafts. 

Vendors are the heart and soul of the Mistletoe Market. Home decor will be extensively showcased with options such as upcycled vintage china from Shop 1988 and fine dried floral arrangements from Valerie's Dried Floral Designs. Additional offerings will include handmade wood or metal hearts and wings from Barrio Antiguo Designs, orchids, poinsettias, and containers from Orchid Express & Leasing, and assorted handmade woodworking items from David Janowitz.
