Souper Bowl of Caring

The goal of the Souper Bowl of Caring is to transform the time around the Super Bowl into the nation's largest celebration of giving. Get involved now by buying a “hunger bag” at any Randall’s, HEB, or Kroger. “Hunger bags” are bags of nonperishable food, which the grocery store packages, and people buy them when they check out. The bags are around $8 and contain food items that the Houston Food Bank needs. All donations go to the Houston Food Bank and will help families that are food insecure. You can also pledge a dollar at most registers to donate to the Houston Food Bank.

To wrap up Souper Bowl of Caring’s 2015 campaign, there will be a Tackle Hunger Banquet on Feb. 7, 2015.
