JV had the top five places, which is a perfect score. In cross country, having a perfect score is rare and is an incredible achievement. Jana Hermoso, a senior, came in first with the time of 14:16. Senior Chloe Campo came in one second later, receiving second place. Coming in third, fourth and fifth were Maureen Foto, a freshman, Grace Wolfe, a freshman and Celeste Hatfield, a sophomore.
Varsity and JV celebrate their wins.
Varsity runner, Maryella Cohn, a junior, came in first for the second week in a row with a time of 12:36. Coming in second for St. Agnes and fourth in the meet was Emelia Bartusaik, a junior, with a time of 12:59. Amber Boettiger, a junior, came in shortly after at 13:01, receiving fifth place.
Coach Kristi Robbins said, “So proud of our teams bringing home the gold again! Varsity is looking stronger and running closely, dominating the field.”
Way to go Tigers, keep up the amazing work!
