On Tuesday, St. Agnes Academy’s swim team won the regional championship by a margin of 104 points. They beat AWTY, Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart and Concordia Lutheran High School. The Tigers took the top four places in the 50 free. Lilli Storemski placed first, Bridget Hibbler placed second, Delaney Wolfe placed third and Isabella Smith placed fourth. They also crushed the 100 fly. Sarah Steffes placed first, Fernanda Machicao placed second, Rachel Wright placed third and Emily Gonsoulin placed fourth.
The Tigers dominated the relays. In the 200 meter relay was Anastasia Kontrimas, Bridie Hibbler, Fernanda Machicao and Isabella Smith. The relay placed first. In the 200 free relay was Lilli Storemski, Bridie Hibbler, Isabella Smith and Anastasia Kontrimas. In the 400 free relay was Lilli Storemski, Delaney Wolfe, Fernanda Machicao and Lilli Metts. The 200 free relay and 400 free relay both received second place.
