There are lots of fun events going on for Final Four weekend.

Happy Friday and happy April! This weekend is packed full of fun events. Here are a few ideas:

Final Four Festivities

Final Four Friday: Each of the Final Four teams will come to an open practice at NRG Stadium. The practices are free and open to the public.

Final Four Fan Fest: This fun-filled event, which takes place Friday through Monday at George R. Brown Convention Center, includes basketball courts for exhibitions and fan games, hands-on experiences, a kids zone, special appearances and more.

March Madness Music Festival: You won’t want to miss this free concert series, which takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Discovery Green, which features artists such as Fall Out Boy, Twenty One Pilots, Maroon 5, Panic! At the Disco, Jason Derulo and more. See more details.

Kemah Crawfish Festival

Enjoy crawfish season under the Kemah bridge. Look forward to plenty of crawfish, beverages and fun on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. See the details.

Grand Kids Festival

The Grand 1894 Opera House will host the Grand Kids Festival on Saturday, a fun festival designed to introduce children to the arts. The event includes blocks of activities, entertainment, live performances, arts and crafts, vendors and more. See the details.

Evelyn’s Park Pop-Up Across the Park

A special edition of Evelyn’s Park Pop-Up Across the Park will take place on Saturday, featuring lots of local vendors. See the details.

Doggy Party on the Plaza

Take your furry friend to CityCentre on Saturday for the Seventh Annual Doggy Party on the Plaza, a fun-filled day which helps promote pet rescue awareness with music, activities, street artists, treats for dogs and for families. The event includes a K9 Costume Contest. See the details.

Kite Festival

Head to Hermann Park on Sunday for the 3rd annual Hermann Park Kite Festival, which includes stage performances, entertainment, a DJ, food trucks, activities and more. See the details.
