B&B Hosts 6-Course Wine Dinner with Award-Winning Winemaker Bob Egelhoff
B&B Butchers & Restaurant is hosting award-winning winemaker, Bob Egelhoff, for an exclusive presentation and six-course wine dinner.
Wine enthusiasts will enjoy a handpicked variety that Bob will masterfully pair with B&B Butchers carefully crafted dishes. Highlights include B&B’s famous Dry-Aged Sirloin paired with a 2009 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, and the “Butchers Butter” Ribeye Cap paired with a signed 2007 Magnum of Two World’s Red Wine.
Known as one of the best winemakers in California, Bob Egelhoff has made wine for Harlan, Merryvale, Pahlmeyer, Staglin and Robert Craig over the years. While the winemaker at David Arthur Vineyards for 13 years, Bob made their 1997 Cabernet Sauvignon Elevation 1147 that earned 99 points from Wine Spectator and earned Wine of the Year. His goal is to craft beautifully balanced wines that reflect the characteristics of the source vineyards. Egelhoff wines have been featured at Côtes du Coeur and the Texas Sommelier Association’s annual conference, and Bob was the 2011 Tête de Cuvée honoree of the Côtes du Coeur American Heart Association charity event in Dallas.
