AFA 2016 Summer Music Conservatory Symphony Orchestra
AFA presents its 2016 Summer Music Conservatory Concert Series from June 22- July 16. Featuring the best and brightest young musicians and composers from the greater Houston area, these concerts are FREE and open to the public. AFA Symphony Orchestra Concert Conductor Petko Dimitrov leads the AFA Symphony Orchestra in a program featuring some of the greatest works written for the symphony orchestra. Repertoire includes: Brahms, Hungarian Dances Prokofiev, Lieutenant Kijé Suite Tchaikovsky, The Sleeping Beauty.
AFA enriches the lives of young people through music. Each year, AFA presents its signature Summer Music Conservatory and a variety of outstanding year-round experiences including the Houston Girls Chorus, the Chamber Music Academy and the Composer Institute.
