Mommy Moments: Back-to-school Time
It’s back to school time again. Older kids are already getting homework assignments and working on reading, math and more. For little pre-preschoolers, it’s more about nurturing, exploring the world and learning to get along with each other.
At “school” (otherwise known as Mother’s Day Out to some), my 2-year-old twins Cash and Lila get a chance to socialize, learn colors, shapes and manners (even if 1/3 of their day is spent napping at school).
My twins are starting today. They had a chance to go last week to “meet the teacher” and I was able to snap this quick picture of Cash kissing Lila. Of course, it was a little prompted and posed. They don’t voluntarily go kiss each other but if I say, “Lila, go give Cash a kiss!” she runs over. I just hope they are always willing to give each other a kiss (even if it’s just for a picture). So far, this has been my favorite back-to-school moment.
What are some of your favorite back-to-school moments?
