Kick off the MLK holiday weekend with the MLK Youth Parade on Saturday in midtown.
Chevron Houston Marathon & Aramco Half Marathon
Run, volunteer or cheer on family, friends and neighbors at the Chevron Houston Marathon on Sunday. Be aware of road closures in the city this weekend due to the marathon. Good luck to all of the runners!
Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday Celebration at Rothko Chapel
Head to the Rothko Chapel on Sunday to celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., including poetry readings and a talk by American commentary, novelist and journalism Leonard Pitts, Jr.

Kids will enjoy a range of fun activities on Sunday at the second annual Family Fun Day at MATCH theatre, including music, chalk and balloon artists, magic shows, an indoor bounce house and more.
