Wilchester Elementary parents, children and dogs were bundled up when Wilchester PTA hosted its Fun Run that started on Britoak and wound throughout the neighborhood to the finish line at Wilchester Elementary. The event was planned by Wilchester Moms, with leaders Christine Gentil and Kathy Blundell, and The Wilchester Men’s Club provided manpower on race day. Seen jumping over the finish line were Aaron Bach, Evan Oxspring, Ryan Smith, Connor Haygood and Colin Tenney, along with principal Rian Evans, assistant principal Channon Almendarez and teachers Holly Davis and Jennifer Franson. The runners were greeted by coach Anne Daily and other Wilchester staff.
