Duchess, age 6

My name is Duchess. I am a 6-year-old female Weimaraner mix. Sadly, my previous owner took me to the shelter because I ate chickens at the farm. Now, I am glad to be in this new beautiful neighborhood with a loving family. I really enjoy walking and running whenever my family is available to go out. I am very friendly with kids and other dogs, and I am still learning not to chase the squirrels. I am very athletic, and the kids taught me to catch a tennis ball when they throw it my way. I also follow some simple commands like sit, shake, high five and stay/go. I really enjoy affection, even from strangers, so do not hesitate to pet me if you see me out in our streets. Thanks for reading my note to learn a little bit about a new “tail” in the neighborhood.
