More than pizza
Over $20,000 was raised to help rebuild the playing fields and amenities at the Spring Branch Education Center, the largest dedicated green space for SBMSA activities. The Little Italy-themed private opening of B.B. Italia and B.B. Pizza kicked off a $3.3 million capital campaign, Fields of Dreams, with 300 patrons. Berg Hospitality and Italian mafia actors encouraged guests to purchase specialty charity cocktails. A caricature artist and a cigar roller added to the fun. Supporting “gangsters” were Monica and Benjamin Berg, Nick Florescu and Dominique Sachse, Louisa and Lou Savarese, Amy and Lewis Gissel, Elizabeth and Alan Stein, Laura Stein, Kara Smith, Chuck Brown, Dr. John Share, Frani and David Denenburg, Jack Rains, Isaac and Cynthia Preminger, Patrick and Brooke Murphy, and Mimi and Robert Del Grande
