Approximately 120 gathered to pack 5,075 lunches for Kids’ Meals at Congregation Emanu El. The age range of the volunteers ranged from 5 to 88 years old. The effort was to celebrate the 12-year partnership between Congregation Emanu El and Kids' Meals, as well as the 75th anniversary of the synagogue. There were lots of kids helping out, including nearly 50 St. John’s School students plus students from The Shlenker School, DeBakey High School for Health Professions and Becker School.
