Gracie, age 4

Hi, y’all! My new name is Gracie. Thinking about my old name brings up some sad memories. About two years ago, I was left at the county animal shelter with my six hungry newborn puppies. Talk about being in a tough spot. Fortunately, the wonderful humans at K-9 Angels came to the rescue and found new homes for all of us. I love my new family. I work tirelessly to keep my yard a squirrel-free zone, though I haven’t figured out how to handle a possum that sleeps on my fence. It just can’t take a hint, no matter how much I bark. It is not all work and no play for me. I love taking afternoon naps, playing with my toys, and riding in the car (except to the vet). I’m happiest when I am exploring the neighborhood and leading my slow pack of two-legged friends. Life is anything but ruff.
