Little kids, big hearts
A group of Condit Elementary students is making a big impact. Ten friends, the “Big Hearts,” (pictured, following page, from left) Savannah Beinart, Joshua Feinstein, Ellie Roth, Dylan Dobbs, Devon Dobbs, George Feinstein, Jaden Sutin, Hailey Sutin, Lexi Cohen, and Ari Staller, held a holiday craft market to raise money for charities, donating 100 percent of their earnings. To stay safe during the pandemic, the Big Hearts invited only their grandparents to the market. They set up a socially distanced, outdoor market and sold crafts, treats, jewelry, and other gifts, raising more than $350 in a single morning. They split their earnings between two charities, the Walk and Roll Foundation and the Center for Hearing and Speech. They will hold their next market to coincide with Valentine’s Day.
