Hailey Sutin, 12, and Alex Narcisse, 16, both wear cochlear implants to hear but don't let their deafness define them. Alex, who plays lacrosse, wrote an autobiographical picture book encouraging children who are deaf and hard of hearing to pursue their dreams of playing sports.
