She said yes

With their families secretly watching from inside, Margeaux Epner (pictured, right) accepted Nicholas Petersen’s (left) marriage proposal in her parents’ backyard. The happy couple then celebrated with a family dinner and an outdoor champagne toast with a few friends. Margeaux and Nick both attended Rice University, but didn’t cross paths while they were undergrads. After they graduated, the pair met at a mutual friend’s birthday party. Nick is a second-year MBA candidate at The Wharton School, and Margeaux is a fourth-year medical student at McGovern Medical School, applying for residency in anesthesiology. They plan to move wherever Margeaux’s residency match takes them, and will marry in February 2022.
