Grand-slam gathering
The Salvation Army of Greater Houston’s annual luncheon took place at Minute Maid Park. Co-chaired by Diana “Stick” Delaup and Maureen Higdon, the luncheon raised more than $872,000. Special honoree was The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary (SAWA), the 470-member team of volunteers and fundraisers who support the projects of The Salvation Army. The Salvation Army provides long-term recovery resources. Emcee was Grammy Award-winning music producer Billy L. Dorsey. See salvationarmyhouston.org.
