I first heard about the pickleball craze a few years ago from a friend in Scottsdale. She had turned 60 and raved about how it changed her life and how I should try it. Well, fast-forward to today and I have yet to pick up a paddle, but I seem to be in the minority. Neighbors of all ages and skill levels are having a blast with the game. This month, Jennifer Oakley highlights Buzz residents who are passionate about pickleball. Plus, find out where to play in Houston. Another trending topic we highlight this month is the revived popularity of the classic espresso martini. It seems with all that’s happening in our world, it is more important than ever to play outside, connect with friends, laugh out loud, and when all else fails, enjoy a trendy cocktail.
