Zoo Boo 2022
Zoo Boo presented by LyondellBasell continues through Halloween Monday. Costumes are strongly encouraged, and attendees will enjoy a wide range of fall festivities, including the Giant Pumpkin, Pumpkin Lantern Tunnel, Scary-Go-Round, and more.
Halloween Monster Mayhem at Children's Museum Houston
This October, come partake in spine-tingling experiments, spirit-lifting interactive and slime-filled fun during Halloween Monster Mayhem. Creep your way through the Museum in search of goblins, goodies and goo! Grab your favorite costume and your best ghoul-friends to set out on a trick-or-treat quest every day.
Texas Renaissance Festival: All Hallow’s Eve
It’s All Hallow’s Eve weekend at the Texas Renaissance Festival, which includes a Halloween costume contest and a Kettle Korn eating contest for a chance to win prizes.
MECA’s Annual Dia De Muertos Festival
In its 22nd year, MECA’s Día de Muertos is a free community celebration of Latin American folk art traditions that commemorate family and ancestry. The two-day, family-friendly festival will feature special performances by MECA Ballet Folklorico, children’s art activities, cultural cuisine, an ofrendas/altar exhibit, artist and artisan vendors, festival delights, and many more musical and dance performances.
West U Halloween Dash and Kids Fun Run
Dress in your favorite creepy costume for the annual 5k and Kids’ Fun Run around West U, Saturday, starting at 6:45 a.m.
Willow Waterhole MusicFest 2022
The fall edition of the bi-annual MusicFest takes place at the Willow Waterhole Greenway on Saturday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m., blending Halloween family fun and live music. Wear your costume and bring your dog in costume, too, for the Mortals and Dogs costume parade. Other highlights: Inflatable haunted house, 10 spooky Halloween games, Trunk or Treat, food trucks, eight bands representing a variety of music styles headlined by the Houston funk/jazz powerhouse Keith Vivens & TKoH. Bring chairs or blankets to sit, relax, and enjoy the music. Free.
Halloween Town at Constellation Field
Constellation Field will be transformed into Halloween Town on Saturday, 3-9 p.m. Bring the family for a day of spooky fun complete with candy, games, activities and more! The Halloween classic Hocus Pocus will be shown on the Texas-sized videoboard. There will also be a costume contest for attendees and four-legged friends.
Halloween Sip & Stroll
The Houston Arboretum’s popular Sip & Stroll outdoor event for 21+ is taking on a spooky spin this Saturday, 7-9 p.m. Walk along the dimly lit trails where you may encounter creatures of the night. Your final destination will incorporate music and mingling with light bites and beverages, including wine and Saint Arnold beer. Costumes are encouraged. $55 member/$60 nonmember.
Musical Trick or Treat
Get spooky with ROCO at the Heritage Society on Saturday, 5-7 p.m. at The Heritage Society, for an evening of Musical Trick or Treat! After a welcome reception at the Museum Gallery at 5 p.m. (with plenty of sweet treats), individual musicians will begin performing, each in a different Heritage Society historic house in Sam Houston Park.
CityCentre's 10th Annual Halloween Trick-or-Treat
Dress up in your favorite costume and trick-or-treat around CityCentre on Sunday, 2-4 p.m. Join DJ Dave in the plaza for spooky tunes, a witchy Halloween performance, and fun activities from Life Time Athletic, 2-5 p.m. Later, enjoy a family-friendly Halloween movie in Fireside at Moran at 5:30 p.m.
5th Annual Howl-o-Ween Dog Parade & Costume Contest
Join Levy Park for the fifth annual Howl-o-ween Dog Parade and Costume Contest presented by H-E-B! The event kicks off with a pup parade around the park. After the parade, costume contest contestants will strut the "runway" for the chance to win pup-tastic prizes. DJ Mohawk will be spinning Halloween tunes throughout the event and parade. All kids in costume will have an opportunity to walk the runway.
Memorial Villages Police Foundation's Trunk or Treat
Memorial Villages Police Foundation's Trunk or Treat, held on Sunday, 5:30-8:30 p.m. in the police department parking lot, includes a large outdoor movie, hot dog food trunk, pumpkin decorating, games, a photo booth, drinks, popcorn, caramel apples, prize giveaways, and more.
Texans vs. Titans
The Texans take on the Titans on Sunday, 3:05 p.m. at NRG.
