Mochi, age 5

Hello, I’m Mochi. Yes, as in the dessert. I enjoy excessively licking my hooman (I think that’s what they’re called?) fam. Tip to the pooches: wait until after the hoomans exercise; nothing makes a better lollipop than salty sweat! Besides covering my fam in slobber, I also love food! I have quite the sweet tooth. My favorites are Okinawan sweet potato and mango flavored popsicles. I’ve also tried some pretty odd stuff. Like there’s this green thing called “broc-co-li” with a fuzzy top (still figuring out if I like it or not). Since I don’t have any furry siblings to wrestle with, I compensate by playing with my kibble. Yep, you heard me right! My hooman sis makes my kibble bowl “woof” and hop around. Typically, I’m not very vocal, but if someone barks at me…they’re in for it. So, if you ever hear five minutes of nonstop barking while passing a house, just know it’s me!
