Come by Skylawn at the POST on Friday for Movie Night on the Lawn with the Houston Cinema Arts Society. Watch School of Rock on a projector screen with the best view of the Houston skyline. Transcending Borders: The Ramayana Project, a cross-cultural telling of the classic epic of the Ramayana, comes to Miller Outdoor Theatre, Friday, 8 p.m. This extraordinary production brings to life the legendary story of Prince Rama — suffused with love, war, and adventure — in a new and original style through music and dance traditions of South and Southeast Asia.

Houston Astros vs. Kansas City Royals

TXU Energy Presents Dinosaurs at the Houston Zoo
Open every day, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; last entry at 4 p.m. Online reservations for timed tickets are required for all non-member guests.

Get an up-close look at T-Rex, Brachiosaurus, Edmontonia, and more at the Dinosaurs exhibit at the Houston Zoo. Visitors will spot the connections between animals at the Zoo and these prehistoric creatures. This is the last weekend to browse the special exhibit, which closes Monday, Sept. 2. Hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Non-member fee of $25 includes after-hours Summer Saturdays admission to the Garden, dancing with live music, and beer and water.

Break Free Worldwide Series at the Children’s Museum

Catch an epic performance by Break Free Hip-Hop School's dance crew as they get the party going. Bboy Moy, who served as a judge at the Paris Olympics, is bringing his world-renowned Break Free crew to Children’s Museum Houston to show off the skills that caught the attention of the world. See a breaking performance this Sunday at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. in Kids’ Hall Alcove. Participate in a DJ workshop, 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Contribute to a community mural, 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. General admission.
Labor Day Drone Show in Downtown Galveston

The skies over downtown Galveston will light up on Sunday with hundreds of drones. Grab a seat early and enjoy some pre-show entertainment, 7:30 p.m. The drones will lift off above Shearn-Moody Plaza at 25th & The Strand at dusk, around 8:30 p.m. The 12-minute artistic display of 300 dancing drones is free to attend.
End of Summer Fireworks at Kemah Boardwalk

Explore amazing aircraft, exhibits, and flight simulators at the Lone Star Flight Museum. Throughout the day, enjoy STEM experiences for all ages, flight simulators, drawings, crafts and more.
Labor Day Matinee: The Little Mermaid with Princess Ariel Meet-and-Greet

The POST is providing a screening of The Little Mermaid (1989), starting around 2 p.m. Beforehand, enjoy a special meet and greet with Princess Ariel, who will enchant the audience with a set of songs from the movie and will be available to pose for photos.
