The Vietnamese Culture and Science Association partners with the Children’s Museum Houston to bring a Mid-Autumn Festival celebration to the museum, including family-friendly activities, storytelling, lion dance, contests, and more!.

Mid-Autumn Festival sponsored in part by the City of Houston through Houston Arts Alliance and in collaboration with VCSA. Each year, the Vietnamese Culture and Science Association partners with the Children’s Museum Houston to bring this celebration to the city of Houston. Join us as we celebrate Mid-Autumn Fest through activities, storytelling, lion dance, contests and more!‍

Ongoing Activities: ‍

‍Lantern Making: Let's get festive and creative with making your own lantern!
When: From 9 am to 3 pm in Kid's Hall

Special Storytime: Join us for this story time as we dive more into the history of Vietnamese folktales.
When: 11 am and 1 pm in the Parent Resource Library

Soaring Phoenix Lion Dance: Dragon dancers express joy and happiness.  Watch them live!
When: Noon and 2 pm in Kid's Hall Alcove
