This year, Westbury Christian School performed “Catch Me If You Can” for the fall musical. The musical is derived from the movie with the same title, which is based off the true story of Frank Abagnale. This year, the director, Ms. Patricia Duran, and the cast are determined to win the Tommy Tune Awards.
“Catch Me if You Can” is one of my favorite musicals, so I signed up to be part of the crew. The cast is made up of both middle and high schoolers that have a passion for acting and music.
The cast worked for more than two months for the three performances.
For the seniors of the cast and crew, the performance was a bittersweet experience. It was our last musical to be able to perform and be part of. I loved working backstage with such an amazing cast and crew and I wish everyone the best in their future endeavors.
