On the attack
St. John’s School sixth grader Pete Anton (pictured) cradles the ball and gets past his opponent in a recent tournament, playing for the Hornets team, which is part of the Houston Youth Lacrosse (HYLAX) organization. Anton’s father, Drew, coaches the Hornets along with coach Tim Profitt. Lacrosse runs in the Anton family. Drew played for Washington and Lee University, and Pete’s twin brother, Elliot, and older brother, Ashton, play in tournaments as well. Pete competed in several tournaments this fall, including the Cy-Fair tournament and the Sno-Ball tournament held at The Kinkaid School.
