Elizabeth Barineau
Elizabeth Barineau is a junior at USC majoring in Journalism. She’s called Houston home her entire life growing up in Memorial and now, Los Angeles is her home too. With her love for telling stories and being in front of the camera, her major gives her the opportunity to report on current events and speak for the voiceless. Elizabeth has a passion for Broadcast Journalism and hopes to one day pursue a career as a news anchor. This past year, she got involved with USC’s news show and was Monday’s lead anchor, where she further developed her writing and interviewing skills. Interning at The Buzz for her second summer in a row, Elizabeth hopes to work on writing under a deadline and brainstorming article ideas because she knows these skills are crucial in this fast-paced industry, with fresh stories flooding in all the time.
