Gloves and a pillbox hat
The 50th anniversary of John F. Kennedy’s death did not go unnoticed in River Oaks. Stephen and Kaye Horn and their daughter Marcella Viktorin welcomed 100 friends to their home, the former home of Gov. John B. Connally Jr., who was also injured when President Kennedy was assassinated. Their party had a display of Jack Kennedy memorabilia and a scrapbook of his typed speeches and original newspaper headlines. A video of the events was replayed on a TV watched by Mary Maxey, Helen Perry, Lucy and Eric Lewis, Judi McGee, Rhonda and Morris Jones, and Loren and Stefani Twyford.
