When Kyle and Erika Sorsby moved to Memorial with precious son Wyatt, Kyle’s parents, Ray and Laurie Sorsby, decided to follow after living in Bellaire 25 years. Their younger son, Reid, is a sophomore at Texas Tech. The larger lots, trees, wildlife and the quietness beckoned them. Since Ray and daughter-in-law Erika graduated from Memorial High School, it felt natural to be back home. Their two rescue dogs, yellow lab Layla and Chihuahua mix Annabell, were instantly at home in their new backyard, complete with squirrels.
