Wearing a uniform definitely has its advantages. You can wake up in the morning and not stress about what you are going to wear with only two skirt options and three different color polo shirts from which to choose. On the other hand, wearing a uniform can also be boring and flavorless. Luckily, there are several different ways to express yourself with fashion trends while wearing a uniform.

A great way to accessorize your uniform is with jewelry. Bracelets and rings are popular, but the current popular fashion trend is chokers. Chokers are “a blast from the past” and are better than ever. You can get a plain choker, a choker with a charm, or a choker that crosses in the front. They are super cute to dress up a uniform but will also match with anything else that you decide to wear.

Shoes are another fashionable way to spruce up your uniform wardrobe. White and black Adidas are really in style these days. They are super comfortable and can go from math class to gym class. Other popular shoes include Uggs in cold weather, booties or tall boots and the ever-popular Nike Free tennis shoe. Hoodies are also a great way to stay warm and add flair to your uniform.

A lot of people have extracurricular activities after school. What do you do with your change of clothes? People are carrying Longchamp bags for their after-school activities. They come in all colors, are super cute and really handy. Vera Bradley bags are another popular choice for school and sleepovers. For those of you who drive, the fluff ball keychain is really in style. You can put it on your keys or wallet. They also make finding your keys a lot easier. They come in various colors, are super soft and fun to play with. Even if you don't drive, you can put this fluff-ball keychain on your backpack.

No matter how drab your uniform is, you can definitely show your individual style by adding some accessories, whether you carry them or wear them.
