It doesn’t matter how much one might imbibe at The Tangle Lane Spring Cocktail Party (between Post Oak and Sage), as you generally are walking home across the street or next door. It was hosted in April at the home of the “official unofficial” mayor of Tangle Lane, Vicky Dyer-Smith, and her deputy, Howard Dyer-Smith. Pork tenderloin, shrimp and fried chicken made it a feast for those expecting light bites. Other hostesses were Liz Andrews, Tracy Peddie, Sally Salners, Iva Ann King, Sue Howe, Michele Hosko, Delia Stroud, Peg Austin and Sandi Greenstone.
