Tomorrow marks the 20th anniversary of 9/11. Find ways to commemorate the anniversary here, including a new exhibit at The Lone Star Flight Museum to remember and honor all of the victim of 9/11. Volunteer Houston is participating in a day of service to mark 9/11. See more details here.

Movies Under the Stars
Head to Market Square Park on Friday night at 8 p.m. for a free showing of Slumdog Millionaire.
Sing Out the New Day
The Houston Chamber Choir is back this year with a hybrid season, offering in-person and virtual concerts. On Friday at 7:30 p.m. at South Main Baptist Church, they will be performing Two Streams, A Cantata by Daniel Kraggs. The virtual release of this cantata will be available Sept. 26. Tickets are $10 for students, $22.50 for veterans, military, music educators, or seniors, and $25 for general admission.
OMG Festival
Stages Repertory Theatre will hold its first ever OMG Festival (short for Outdoor Movies at The Gordy) Friday through Sunday on The Brown Foundation Lawn at The Gordy. This event is $10 per day and there will be a showing of one movie per evening.
Friday – 10 Things I Hate About You (PG-13)
Saturday – Deliver Us from Eva (R)
Sunday – The Lion King (G)
In addition to these Shakespeare-inspired cult classic films from the ’90s, OMG Fest will feature an array of lawn games, a bad sonnet competition, food trucks, a photo booth, and local vendors.
PROUD Tina: The Ultimate Tribute to Tina Turner
On Friday and Saturday night, come to Miller Outdoor Theatre for a Tina Turner tribute concert. This event is free and open to the public.
Jazzy Sundays
This Sunday at 4 p.m. at Emancipation Park, Jazzy Sundays is in its second week of concerts. This event runs every Sunday until the end of November. It is free and open to the public.
Astros vs. Angels
On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the Astros face the Angels at Minute Maid Park.
DASH vs. Red Stars
On Friday, Houston DASH play the Red Stars at BBVA Stadium.
Dynamo vs. Austin FC
On Saturday, the Dynamo face the Austin FC at BBVA Stadium.
Rice vs. UH
Rice University football plays UH on Saturday at Rice Stadium for the 40th annual Bayou Bucket Game. Following tradition, the rivals go head to head to claim the Bayou Bucket trophy. Read more about Rice University football traditions and memories here.
Texans vs. Jaguars
On Sunday at NRG Stadium, the Texans play the Jaguars.
