The Water Lantern Festival is an unforgettable family friendly night of connection at the water’s edge that invites creativity, imagination, and fun. What makes this occasion so unique is the main event – participating in and watching the crowd create and float water lanterns. Participants also enjoy picnics and wafting smells from food trucks selling wood-fired BBQ, spicy Asian food, funnel cakes and more.
 
The entrance fee provides attendees with everything to create custom designed lanterns to set sail their hopes and dreams. The sun starts to set and the sky transforms to orange and pink, adding shimmery reflections on the water. All join in a communal experience to celebrate life as the lanterns are slipped into the water. 

Event schedule:

• 4-8 p.m.: Food Trucks/Music/Fun
• 7:30 p.m.: Design your Lantern
• 8-9 p.m. Lantern Launch
