Carrie Robinson
Carrie Robinson is a Senior Library Service Specialist at the Central Library, where she spends her days deconstructing technology, performing mad science, crafting mutant sock monkeys and other general mischief-making with the teens in the Teen room. She also helps manage the virtual reader’s advisory service, Have You Read…?, for HPL. She is more or less halfway through her Master of Information Science program at the University of North Texas - thank merciful Zeus! Her reading interests range from sci-fi/fantasy to graphic novels to history to social science, and everything in between; she believes that, to quote some famous dead librarian guy, there is a book for every reader and every reader has his book. Her favorite authors include Simon Rich, Bill Bryson, Isaac Asimov, Toni Morrison, Jon Krakauer and Jon Ronson. Her favorite books include At Home by Bill Bryson, The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood, Saga by Brian K. Vaughan, Beloved by Toni Morrison, and A Canticle for Leibowitz by Arthur Miller. Her favorite video game is Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare.
