Meg Scott

Meg Scott loves to explore our beautiful city with her family of boys. They can often be found wandering the trails and coastal regions of Houston, exploring the endless art installations around the city, and crafting new dishes from Houston’s bountiful produce. In between these outings, there is always time for a stop at a Houston taco shop or bakery off the beaten path. Meg’s background in writing spans news publications, magazines and corporate communications around the state of Texas. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s in English literature then completed a Master of Journalism at the University of North Texas. She has worked in communications in a range of industries, including travel at Southwest Airlines, finance at Southwest Securities, education at The Hockaday School, and energy at Nexen Petroleum U.S.A.  She has contributed to local magazine and newspaper publications in Bryan/College Station, Plano and Denton. Texas offers so many natural and creative wonders to see and she knows her family will always have an adventure at hand.
