Born and raised in Houston, Texas, I have always loved to explore the fourth largest city’s dynamic culture. I commenced my interest in journalism and photography through The Emery/Weiner School yearbook staff. As School Buzz Editor during my senior year, I further developed my love for writing and then spent a week at The Buzz as part of internship week of The Emery/Weiner School. I look forward to investigating new parts of Houston with The Buzz as a summer intern. As I prepare to head off to American University in Washington, D.C. to study business, I know that I will be able to take what I learned at The Buzz and apply it in college and beyond.
