Solar Eclipse 2017
Chung family

Michael and Wendy Chung traveled with their kids Aidan, Brendan, Kaitlyn and Ellison to watch the eclipse in Grand Island, Nebraska. It was a 13-hour drive from their Meyerland home to Grand Island, where thousands had gathered. Michael Chung said watching the eclipse was a "surreal experience" and that when totality occurred, the entire crowd cheered.

The historical solar eclipse on Monday was "out of this world."  Below, see a slideshow of where Buzz residents watched the eclipse.

We'd love to see your photos, too. Email us at info@thebuzzmagazines.com

The next total eclipse will take place on April 8, 2024 and this time, the path of totality will go through Texas. And if you have your solar eclipse glasses, don't throw them away - you can reuse them for the next eclipse.
