Kate Burke
Hello! I’m Kate Burke and I’m a sophomore at Emery/Weiner. My passion for writing was, and continues to be, cultivated by my love of reading. As a kid and, admittedly, even now, I would lock myself in my room and read for hours, allowing me to develop my enthusiasm for writing. Outside of writing, I love listening to all genres of music and attending my favorite artists’ concerts (such as Oasis next summer in London!). I’m eager to write for the School Buzz, especially with such an amazing team, and hope to share the vibrant and welcoming Emery community.

FABULOUS 40TH Tabatha Urech’s 40th festivities were planned for Cabo when a hurricane interfered. The group of friends headed to Horseshoe Bay instead to celebrate.
