Alden Farrow was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Memorial High School and will attend the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in the fall. Alden discovered her passion for writing from being an avid reader and an overall lover of books. When she is not reading, she is probably baking, dancing, or watching the same rom-com for the 100th time (usually 10 Things I Hate About You). Alden began her focus on journalism as a writer and editor for The Anvil, Memorial High School’s award-winning student newspaper, and served as a student reporter for The Buzz's School Buzz program. Alden’s perfect day involves rainy weather, a good book and her dog, Winston. She is excited to continue honing her journalism skills writing for The Buzz.
