Dani Barg
Hey readers! My name is Dani Barg, and I am a junior at The Emery/Weiner School. I discovered the School Buzz two summers ago through my work in community service, and after I was asked to write an article, I fell in love with it. Writing has played a huge role in my life, helping me overcome my perfectionist tendencies, delve into my school community, and bulldoze through the sweet temptation of procrastination. When I’m not writing (or sketching all over my article frameworks), I am at fencing practice, training hard, and definitely worrying about APUSH and Calculus. I am so thrilled for this next year of School Buzz—this year’s team is truly outstanding!

NOT JUST HORSIN’ AROUND Dani Barg, a sophomore at The Emery/Weiner School, participated in several volunteer opportunities with SERVE & Sweat, including caring for horses at the Houston Police Mounted Patrol barn.
